TVS NTORQ 125, India’s first connected scooter, launched at Rs 58,750


TVS has launched the NTORQ 125, the company’s an all-new flagship scooter, in India at a price tag of Rs 58,750 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Based on the NTorq concept unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016, the TVS NTORQ 125 targets the Generation Z consisting of younger buyers in the age group of 18-24.

Apart from being stylish, the scooter is technologically sound. Alongwith the scooter, a Bluetooth-enabled connected technology system called the SmartXonnect has also been launched. One has to use NTorq application for android phones to access the system.

A new CVTi-REVV 124.79 cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled SOHC engine provides power to the TVS NTORQ 125. The power mill produces about 9.3 bhp at 7,500 rpm and provides a peak torque of 10.5 Nm.
