Tesla model S was impressive and now might be facing competition from the latest Tesla model X. X is the CUV prototype version of the previous model S and by the looks it gives you the impression of big and beautiful.
Batteries still placed in low skateboard as in model S, X also promises a lot of space. Absence of combustion engine makes space for two trunks, at front and back which eventually makes space for 7 people and their luggage. Points for space management go to X.
X is heavier, features full-drive and comes with the battery options of 60 and 85 kWh. If you didn’t notice I said X is heavier and hence the range goes down by about 10% when compared to S. Coming to performance our X can get to 60mph in 4.4 seconds and the looks are enhanced by those “falcon gullwing doors”.
As for the price pattern the beginners will go for about $50k, but with the best options and the largest battery pack will cost nothing less than $90k. Also Tesla will be bringing out a fourth model in a couple of years. I am about to finish with the article and booking have already started, so get rid of some money and buy the X.
