Known for building gasoline-powered quad bikes (ATVs) and snowmobiles, Polaris has come up with its own range of electric bikes which were unveiled at the Interbike Show in Las Vegas.
Polaris Electric Bikes launched the five-model range at the show – called as Vector, Strive, Strive ST, Meridian and Meridian ST. The ST range has been specially made for women.
The entire range of bikes comes with same price tag of $2,499 and the powertrain too is same. The bikes will come equipped with a 450 W electric motor with an eight-speed hub-mounted transmission.
The bike can travel upto 48 kilometer when the bike is full charged and can manage to go upto a top speed of 29 km/h (18 mph).
