Porsche Carrera GT crash took actor Paul Walker’s life in November last year, at a time when the Fast and Furious crew was into the production process of the film’s seventh installment.
Paul Walker had shot for more than half of the scenes for his character Brain O’Conner. The team had to find a solution without discarding the efforts already done for the movie.
There were reports that the producers may approach Paul’s brother Cody Walker but now it has been officially confirmed that Paul’s both the brothers, Cody and Caleb, will join the Fast and Furious 7 crew.
The image above shows Cody on Paul’s right and Caleb on his left. Universal Studios made the announcement on the Facebook page of Fast and Furious.
Earlier there were reports that the movie would use a mix of body doubles and computer-generated images.
The Fast and Furious 7 is scheduled to release on April 15, 2015.
“We came together and all felt the only choice was to continue […]. We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our FAST family. Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production. Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us too,” the Universal Pictures statement reads.
