Michael Schumacher is “waking up very slowly” as he makes progress at his home in Gland, Switzerland, French F1 commentator Jean-Louis Moncet recently told the world on Europe 1 radio.
During a radio show Moncet said that Michael’s kart-racing son Mick has revealed this piece of information.
“I saw his son and he told me that Schumi is waking up very slowly.”
Mick was with his father when the unfortunate accident took place on December 29.
“Although things are going at a slow pace, he [Michael Schumacher] has a lot of time, I would say his whole life in front of him to get back on track,” The French sports commentator added.
Jean Todt had made similar remarks recently. However, Moncet has revealed a new detail about the mishappening.
“The problem for Michael was not the hit, but the mounting of the GoPro that he had on his helmet that injured his brain,” he said.
We wish Schumi a speedy recovery.
