Kawasaki Motors has launched Ninja 400 motorcycle in India on Monday. The bike is priced at Rs 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Ninja 400 gets sharper styling and a new and updated engine.
Bookings have already begun and the deliveries will begin in a few weeks’ time. It will be offered only in the KRT (Kawasaki Racing Team) Green Colour.
Ninja 400 gets an all-new 399 cc parallel-twin engine that makes 44.4 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 38 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
The styling definitely takes a cue or two from the H2. The rear design has been inspired by the 2016 model of the Ninja ZX-10R, especially the rea tail lamp.
The bike weighs 173 kg, which is 9 kg heavier than the Ninja 300.
