There is something good for bike lovers as Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) on Tuesday have started selling its all-new 160 cc sporty motorcycle, Honda X-Blade. The bike is priced at Rs 78,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Honda X-Blade was shown at Auto Expo and bookings for the bike started a week later on February 14 this year. The new Honda X-Blade is based on company’s previous models- the Honda CB Hornet 160R. However, the new motorcycle comes with a sharper design language and an all-LED headlamp cluster. One good thing about Hond X-Blade 160 is that it is almost Rs 4,000 cheaper than the base model of the CB Hornet 160R.
Honda X-Blade comes with a sporty look which is developed due to sharply designed fuel tanks. It also comes with chiselled lines and matte black tank extensions with the X-Blade badging. The X-Blade will be available in 5 colours – Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Matte Frozen Silver Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Pearl Igneous Black and Matte Marshal Green Metallic.
Honda X-Blade has 162.71 cc HET engine which enables the bike to have a maximum of 13.93 bhp at 8,500 rpm and develops a peak torque of 13.9 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine comes matched to a 5-speed gearbox.
