Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has rolled out a new Petrol/CNG bi-fuel version of its Amaze compact sedan, which comes at a price tag of Rs 6.54 lacs (including CNG kit installation).
Dubbed Amaze 1.2 S MT Plus, the new variant has already gone on sales in the cities where the alternative fuel is available.
“At HCIL, we constantly work towards enhancing customer experience through our products and services. We are extremely happy to bring the Amaze with a CNG option for our customers, which will not only be cheaper to run and maintain but also eco-friendly,” Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India said.
The company says to turn Amaze into CNG version, the suspension was tweaked, and a specially prepared wiring harnesses was added for high level of quality.
The car comes with a 2-year warranty.
“The new variant with bi-fuel option of Petrol/ CNG is being offered in the market to meet the needs of customers who are looking for an alternate fuel vehicle with high performance and low running cost,” said HCIL in a statement.
