The all-new Hero Xtreme 200R naked sport motorcycle has been unveiled in India, few days ahead of the 2018 Auto Expo. Developed and designed in-house, the bike is the production version of the Hero Xtreme 200S concept, which was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo.
Hero has derived the engine of the bike from the 150 cc engine of the Hero Achiever. According to the company, Hero has worked on five key elements – engine performance, braking performance, sound, ergonomics and handling and stability.
The bike is capable of doing a 0-60 kmph sprint in just 4.6 seconds and can attain a top speed of 112 kmph.
The Hero Xtreme gets its power from a new 200 cc, single-cylinder carburetted engine, capable of delivering 18.4 bhp at 8500 rpm and 17.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
