An extremely rare and the very first 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat (VIN 0001) is all set to go under the hammer at the Barrett-Jackson Auction scheduled to take place in Las Vegas on September 27.
The special Challenger SRT Hellcat will roll off the Brampton, Ontario assembly line. It will then visit the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, where it will get the exclusive, hand-painted Stryker Red paint wrap. It will also get the special Hellcat badges, an embossed iPad sleeve, a signed SRT Hellcat lithograph and its birth certificate.
Dodge has released an image which shows how the vehicle will look like after receiving the paint job, but looks like it will look more stunning in real life.
“The 2015 Challenger Hellcat is already guaranteed to be one of the hottest cars that will roll through the Barrett-Jackson auction lanes in decades to come. The VIN 0001 being auctioned this year is the ultimate one-of-one collectible 2015 Dodge Challenger, as Dodge is ensuring there will never be another one like it,” said Tim Kuniskis, president and CEO of the Dodge and SRT brands.
The amount fetched from the auction of the vehicle will go to an organization based in Las Vegas called Opportunity Village.
