GM has announced that their sporty range-extender, called the Cadillac ELR, will make its official debut at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show on January 15. Apart from this, GM is also bringing a number of premiers at the show including the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra and the Corvette C7.
The automaker had recently released the teaser image of the Cadillac ELR and it was unveiled as a concept at the Detroit Motor Show in 2009. And this time around, it will be showcased as the production version at the event.
The vehicle borrows the T-shaped battery pack from the Volt and it is a range-extended hybrid. No other specifications and details have been revealed as of now. Let’s wait for the 2013 Detroit Motor Show.
