Rumors are rife that BMW can come out with something huge in the US this year. The company will launch no less than 12 new models in 2014, according to Automotive News.
One of the 12 new models is said to be a bigger SUV and it will be built at the company’s Spartanburg plant in South Carolina.
The Germans will be aimed at making record-breaking profits by expanding their presence with the new launches.
For the company, the USA and China markets are the biggest in the world. So expect that in both these countries, the company will look for expanding the production facilities.
“We expect group profit before tax to rise significantly in the current year, despite ongoing volatile business conditions,” BMW’s CEO, Norbert Reithofer said at the company’s annual results press conference.
