Star Motorcycles has unveiled their 2014 model of the small V Star 250, a chopper made specially for beginners.
The seat height of the vehicle is 27″ (68.6 cm), which is suitable for smaller riders – boys and girls, who can be rest assured to have a solid foothold on the ground.
Furthermore, this quarter-liter chopper is easy to steer even at low speed, credit for this goes to its low weight of 326 lbs (147 kg).
The new V Star 250 comes packed with a 15-cubic-inch (249cc) air-cooled, SOHC 60-degree V-twin engine, that gets its fuel through 26mm Mikuni carb and mated to a manual 5-speed gearbox with wide ratios.
The engine as well as the side covers have received chrome accents. It also features a front 282mm disc and an 130mm rear drum.
Star claims the 2014 V Star 250 does 78 mpg (3 l/100km).
The 2014 V Star 250 is set to arrive in July for $4,340 (€3,300).
Color options are Candy Red and Pearl White.
