McLaren once teamed up with BMW and Gordon Murray and the result was this F1 with the “hypercar” label. The McLaren F1 LM is a rare machine and is headed to auction.
The 1998 McLaren F1 LM, which is a street legal bike, is chassis number 073. However this one is not the original LM, but one of the two units that McLaren’s Special Operations upgraded with an LM-specification engine.
The machine features LM-spec 6,064 cc motor, which is capable of producing 680 horsepower. The McLaren F1 is offered at “a fraction of an LM’s price” and is up for grabs at RM Sotheby’s.
The vehicle also features the Special Operations-grade Extra High Downforce Package. The car comes with custom 18-inch wheels and orange metallic paint job.
There is no estimate about its price, let’s wait how much this baby fetches.
