1969 Dodge Charger Daytona up for grabs for $250,000 [Video/Pics]

The car you can see in the pictures and its Plymouth-branded sibling was called ‘wing warrior’ in the late 1960s.

A scarce breed, the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona was built at the Hamtramck assembly plant in Michigan.

RK Motors Charlotte is selling this peice of history for a whopping $250,000 (€223,850). The retro car has been rotisserie restored by Best of Show Automotive LLC.

The car has an original big-cube 440 Magnum V8 enhanced with 4-barrel carburetion under its hood. The engine churns out 375 horsepower and is mated to heavy-duty A833 4-speed transmission.

Other features include vinyl bucket seats, power steering, power drum brakes, a 26-inch radiator, and a senior Music Master AM radio.
